But what if the app also went the other way and connected music from Spotify with a live audience on Greenroom enabling DJ’s to spin tracks club style or like a broadcast radio station. You can already turn a Greenroom session into a podcast in just a few clicks. I expect to see greater integrations with the main Spotify app in the coming months. What really excites me about Greenroom is its connection to Spotify. It is much easier to have an impact when an app is growing than it is to fight a firehouse of content from established creators on a super popular app like Clubhouse. Remember how fast an artist could build an audience in the early days of Instagram and TikTok? There’s a lot to be said for being on a platform early. In fact, it could mean just the opposite. But despite the slow start for Greenroom, that does not mean that musicians and others should ignore the app.
